Thank you for visiting our website. We are Organigram Inc. (“Organigram”, or “we”), Canadian licensed producer of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use and disclose personal information (meaning information about an identifiable individual), whether through use of our website, mobile App, or as a client and customer of Organigram. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, you can contact our Privacy Officer Helen Martin at helen.martin [at] organigram.ca.

Personal information we collect, and how we use it

Visiting our website

When you visit or use our website, we only collect personal information from you that you provide to us voluntarily and knowingly. Further, we only collect personal information for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and we only retain it for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Any personal information that we are no longer using is deleted/destroyed.

When you visit the Medical section of our website, we ask you to provide your date of birth, as well as your province of residence, in order to ensure you are of legal age in your province. You can choose to have Organigram “remember” this information for 30 days, so that you don’t have to enter it every time you visit this section of our website.

Registration as client
In order to become a customer of Organigram, we will require that you register and that you provide certain information to process your orders and for regulatory compliance purposes. This includes your name, date of birth, gender, email, phone number and mailing address, along with the documentation necessary to confirm your entitlement to purchase medical cannabis. You must provide your signature on the online registration form. We will then provide you with a Client ID and password that you will need to make any purchases through the website. If you have questions, we ask that you provide your name and email address, so that one of our representatives can get back to you with answers.

In additional to a completed registration form, you must also have your doctor fill out a medical document (available on the website), which in addition to your name, date of birth and phone number, includes certain personal health information, such as cannabis prescription information, medical condition information, and any additional notes your physician may include. Once you have submitted both of these forms to us, you can proceed to place on order through our website.

We may also collect personal information such as your name, email address or phone number in order for you to participate in some programs, sweepstakes or other promotions offered on our website, to be added to our Organigram mailing list, and for the additional purposes outlined below. You will be able to unsubscribe from receiving them at any time.

We use your personal information for the purpose of providing our services to you, as you request, including using your e-mail and/or your name and phone number, to contact you in connection with providing the services; where you specifically consent to follow-up contacts by Organigram or to be put on our electronic mailing list, to contact you from time to time; and for such other purposes to which you may consent from time to time. We may contact you without your specific consent to provide you with notices related to health and safety, and to administer your account with us.
